History of the idea 'Ether'
Ether, or luminiferous Ether, was the hypothetical substance through which electromagnetic waves travel. It was proposed by the greek philosopher Aristotle and used by several optical theories as a way to allow propagation of light, which was believed to be impossible in "empty" space.
It was supposed that the ether filled the whole universe and was a stationary frame of reference, which was rigid to electromagnetic waves but completely permeable to matter. Hooke Eric Weisstein's World of Biography endorsed the idea of the existence of the ether in his work Micrographia (1665), and other several philosophers of the 17th century, including Huygens, Eric Weisstein's World of Biography did the same. At the time of Maxwell's mathematical studies of electromagnetism, ether was still assumed to be the propagation medium and was imbued with physics properties such as permeability and permittivity.
In 1887, a crucial experiment was performed by Michelson and Edward Morley in an attempt to detect the existence of the ether. The experiment, named the Michelson-Morley experiment in honor of its authors, shocked the scientific community by yielding results which implied the non-existence of ether. This result was later on used by Einstein to refute the existence of the ether and allowed him to develop special relativity without this artificial (and non-existent) constraint.
The idea, that physical realities are taking their energy from an ether, or uaing the ether as medium, a pre-physical realm and ether movement converts energy into a physical form.
Ether and Oriental philosophy
Buddhism does not establish an axiomatic system like mathematics. Everything is imperfect, even in reasoning. Buddhism preached by Shakyamuni Buddha is a doctrine, to eliminate the persistence of human thought, thought - the human mind is filled with false illusions, and need to eliminate it. The goal is to liberate suffering, see the truth (this world is created by the mind, and it is false), to stop samsara - samsara.
Enlightened people will see the truth, but only that person will be able to see it, even if they tell it to others, they will not understand.
In Buddhism, there is an information field, it produces everything, from being to not being, that is aa vijñānakāyāḥ (Eight Consciousnesses).
Only people who are enlightened can penetrate this field of information. All physical manifestations in this information field, even what is not fully understood, are the Ether, quantum theory, relativity.
Ether was born, as a good visualization of the inadequacy of quantum physics and relativity. Like the inclusion in mathematics, the Ether covers both relativity and quantum theory. Therefore, Ether is more like philosophy and spirituality than science.
This etheric energy, probably stemming from what some physicists call the zero point energy realm, which is a vast reservoir of untapped energy, is transformed into electromagnetic energy.
The zero point energy is understood as the information field of aṣṭa vijñānakāyāḥ.
Lao Tzu's Taoism also has many similarities to comparison with Ether.
Radiant Energy from the universe and from the earth's core, is an expression of the Ether. It is the idea of Tesla's endless power exploitation.
Ether today
Einstein declared the general relativity as obsolate ("it has failed...") official in 1920
on a scientific forum. Einstein said:
space must have physical qualities ... therefore,
there exists ether."
See and hear it original
The connection between energy, matter and forces is the key point of the real modern physics. A lot of excelent scientists have worked and are working on this field. Understanding the interactions between these will bring a breakthrough in physics and in the technology. Only, if this knowledge won't be kept secret and supressed for the public.
Note from The Creator One: For my opinion, Radiant Energy is the moving ether or something what can be moved in the ether. Therefore, it is not the same as zero-point energy.
